For years and years, video games have offered up entertainment for fans of all ages. There are classics that are associated with arcades and contemporary hits that have changed pop culture, games that bring groups from around the world together for battle and consoles played at homes by individuals, couples and families.

While the games themselves are super fun, these worlds can also be enjoyed through themed products, events, television shows, online forums, foods and… nail art designs! That is right, these are 10 different manicures (for professionals or DIY artists) that were all inspired by some of the most popular and beloved video games out there.

10 Fortnite

In recent years, Fortnite has been popular, especially with younger players. Those who want to show off nails inspired by this online game should simply choose some objects and symbols associated with the game, then recreate those through nail art!

While a llama piñata may take some time to draw and color in, the end result will be so worth it, if it looks anything like this at least.

9 Guitar Hero

Back in the dayGuitar Hero was all the rage, as it allowed people to play some very well-known songs and play a video game at the same time. Yes, many have lived out their dreams of being a rock star with this option, and many are probably very into these fingernails.

The iconic buttons, with their colored outlines and clicking noises, would be pretty easy to do on nails; a black base just needs an outline, for a subtle yet special manicure.

8 Minecraft

Minecraft is another game that allows players to collaborate or create on their own, and the pixelated beings and blocks in it are quite recognizable. A person, a creeper and a chicken are just a few of the ideas seen right here, but there are many parts that could be honored in this way.

Furthermore, just two of them could alternate on every other nail, or a favorite graphic (like the creepy green creepy) could be done on every single nail!

7 Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is a definite leader in the space, and they pleased even more fans when they released the Switch; this console can be enjoyed in so many different ways, and it inspired this nail art, too!

The blue and red choices for the controllers were done on two nails, and the other three nails got Mario-themed designs. While there are clearly other games from this brand and on this product, Mario's games are classics. Therefore, an image of him, his enemies, his friends and/or his surroundings… all of this is great.

6 PAC-MAN

One of the most classic arcade-style games would be PAC-MAN, and everyone is familiar with these chomping circles, ghastly ghosties, and tunnel-like pathways.

That being said, many may want to paint out these elements on their fingernails, for a really retro and fun design.

5 Pokémon

Next up on the list… the iconic red, white and black balls from Pokémon! Due to the popularity of Pokémon and the amount of characters from this universe, there are actually so many different designs that could be inspired around it all.

One of the easiest and most impactful options, though, would be to paint half the nail red, half the nail white, draw a line with a circle across the middle and add some dots/fillings, to finish it all off perfectly.

4 Skyrim

Those who are into Skyrim may want to consider this nail art. The first part is super easy: Just paint every nail black. The second part will take some concentration, some patience and a steady hand, as the title is written on one finger and the dragon graphic on another.

A stencil or a trip to the nail salon may be the best answer here, and it will be very worth it!

3 Super Mario

There could be lists dedicated to just Mario-inspired fingernails, since this character has been around for so long, is associated with so many other lovable characters, and has been in so many iconic lands.

This design, for instance, uses the recognizable blue sky and green grass, with green pipes and brown bricks. A mushroom, some coins, a goomba and a chomper have also been added, since they help make these games what they are!

2 Tetris

Another game that has been around forever would be Tetris, and it is another idea that is fairly easy to copy onto nails. The little colored squares that make up the playing can be drawn as nail art, for a bold and bright design that will surely stand out to many.

This is one that can be customized, too, as one or as many colors as wanted could be utilized on any/all nails.
